0-1-3-8-1 John Marion Plymale was born on January 10th, 1864.  He married Lucy Frances Bryant on June 17th, 1884.  She was born on June 17th, 1864 and died on October 13th, 1902.  They had eight children.

0-1-3-8-1 John Marion Plymale married Bertha Harmon on June 3rd, 1903.  They also had eight children together.

John lived on the farm where he was born his entire life.  He owned some 500 acres of land which he farmed, and raised sheep and cattle.

He was active in helping organize The Plymale Reunion Association in 1938 and served one year as president and Master of Ceremony.

He died October 5th, 1942 and is buried along with his first wife Lucy Frances Bryant, his children Opal, Eunice, Jennings B., and his mother Cynthia (Sally) Moore in the Brumfield cemetery at Shoals, West Virginia.
